Finding Luna Belle
The Luna Belle Story: A Dream Reimagined
For years, an old horse trailer sat abandoned behind a weathered barn, its once-glossy blue paint faded and rust creeping along its body. It had carried champions once—proud, elegant horses that raced through grand tracks and open fields. But when the farm fell silent, so did the trailer, forgotten in the tall grass of a Michigan farm.
Then came Anna. She saw not a relic, but an opportunity—a chance to give this old trailer a new purpose.
She imagined restoring it, stripping away the rust, polishing the chrome, and painting it the purest white. Stalls would become shelves lined with bourbon and champagne, an oak bar would take center stage, and golden lights would illuminate the interior. Luna Belle would be born.
That was the vision, but reality had other plans…
We searched everywhere for the perfect vintage trailer. We scoured auctions, visited old farms, and spent endless hours scrolling through online marketplaces. Each time, we thought we had found “the one,” only to realize it was too damaged, too costly, or snatched up by someone with the same dream. It was frustrating—more than frustrating. It felt like chasing a ghost, holding onto an idea that seemed just out of reach. The more we searched, the more we realized how rare these trailers were. Some were rusted beyond repair, others required extensive work that would double or triple our budget. And each dead end made the dream feel farther away. Time slipped away, expenses grew, and patients grew thin.
Eventually, we faced a hard truth: if we couldn’t restore a piece of history, we’d build our own.
So, we started fresh—cutting, welding, painting, and crafting a new trailer from the ground up. It wasn’t the romantic revival we had envisioned, but it was ours. Luna Belle still came to life—just not the way we first imagined.
Maybe this was always how it was meant to be. Luna Belle is new, her stories have yet to be written, and we can’t wait to see where she goes from here.
